Nice start on Christmas in October! By December you'll have a few songs nailed for the family get together! This doesn't mean I have to start shoping does it? Your sound set up is making me jealous...maybe Santa will bring me something?!

Wally- you are off to a good start! Maybe turn down the reverb a little bit. lol!

There's nothing to really suggest at this point except kepp playing it and it'll get much smoother! You've got the finger picking pretty close already.

But Version 1 is lookin' good! Version 2 soon?

p.s. Thanks again for lunch and it was great to meet you. Can't wait to jam with you next time!

Cheers! :cheer:

Well Wally, if you can do this in 20 minutes, playing all kinds of chords that you didn't know before, a couple of more days and you'll get it down completely! And yes indeed, it was very nice to meet you! :)

Isn't there an unwritten rule about no Christmas song posts before Halloween?!?

Nice start Wally. I'm sure you'll have this and many others down by the time you need them.

Wally nice start so far. I've been thinking that I should start looking at these songs soon as well. Well I didn't hear any bum notes. Looks like you have all the fingerings down. Now its just more practice and getting that muscle memory going. Good job. Looking forward to see/hear your progress on this one.

Wally,

I love playing this one. One thing that helped me was to start by just playing the melody and then build up to the chords for the rhythm, also, this song is better in swing time.

Wally as you said it's a start I would say a good start. You seem to have all the pieces now to just practice.

Keep on pickin'
Bob
