Chris - that sounded great. As others have said, your voice is perfect for this song.

Thanks for choosing that song, I wasn't familiar with it but will definitely check it out now. My "Toad exposure" has basically been limited to the Fear cd. "I Will Not Take These Things For Granted" is another beautiful acoustic song of theirs that would be perfect with your voice (hint, hint).

Thanks Pierre! I will try a step over to the dark side and see what happens! Jeff, Fear was the last TTWS CD I came in contact with and I have not full investigated it yet so I will check out your suggestion right now. Glen Philips is a wonderful singer. I came in contact with them about 12 years ago through my little sister... she guessed right that I'd love 'em. Many thanks for listening in.

Chris-

I really enjoyed the guitar experiment! What a fun idea- to let us see how the two different guitars sound and how that affects the tone of the song. I also like Pierre's idea of experimenting with some palm muting just to add a little percussion to the song. You've already got plenty of good advice from other people, so at the risk of repeating everyone, let me just say that I loved the melancholic sound of your voice with this song. Really beautiful and perfect for this autumn day!

Thanks Suzi... you knew this one was coming. I am having fun with Toad right now. And Pierre's idea is already working quite well, I'm just limited by my mediocre ability here! Glad I could add a little to the Halloween mood ... scary avatar by the way!

THanks Tammy. I have been a big fan of their stuff for a while... it's fun getting into some of their songs.

Chris,

That was fun to watch you go through this on the different guitars. Your voice is smooth as butter!!!!!! I wasn't really familiar with this band until you brought it up. I"ll have to check them out a bit. Nice work!!!
