HI Dan saw this as soon as it came up on You Tube and watched it there. Real nice arrangement, well done.

Wally, I’m not that talented. Never learned to play by ear and require sheet music / tabs for everything I do.

Guess I should have been clearer with my original post.

I’ve purchased several arrangements from Jorge Nolla in France. Love the internet - from home - I can take guitar lessons from Neil in Northern California (just 45 minutes from where I live) or purchase arrangements from another continent.

Most of Jorge Nolla’s arrangements I’ve purchased - Sting’s “Fields of Gold”, “La Bamba”, “Hallelujah”, “Isn’t She Lovely”, “Over the Rainbow” match his YouTube videos exactly (which made learning them easier). “Let it Be” – not so much. This one required substantial revision.

My next video will be one on Neil’s Christmas Instrumentals - promise!

Very nice Dan, I really like the drop D sound of your guitar. I like your slow tempo giving the chance to the guitar to resonate.

Dan,

That sounded beautiful; clear as a bell, great feel and perfect timing. Your playing is a great yardstick.

Thanks for the performance.

I enjoyed that as well.
I'm working on a chord melody version of this as well.

My version is in standard tunning in the key of C and using a pick.

Wow everybody, thanks for all the complements.

Marc, I purposely played “Let It Be” slower and allowed the guitar to ring, thanks for noticing. I can easily play it much quicker, even made a video that way. Thought it was robotic, and didn’t like the sound. My last endeavor “La Bamba” sounds great fast and percussive. Doesn’t work with “Let It Be”.

Willem, I’ve already started the TG instrumental “Frosty The Snowman”.
