PLEASE NOTE: If video was recently uploaded it will not work yet. YouTube will need a little more time to get the video ready. Please check back again soon.

When I started trying to learn to play Judy, I almost gave up because the fingering was really challenging. However, after playing it over and over, it started to click. This is a really fun song to play and I'm really glad that Neil put up a lesson for it.

Sorry if it looks like I'm sleeping in the video. :) I find that I simply can't focus enough when playing a difficult piece if I'm looking around, so I just close my eyes and 'see' my fingers doing the right thing. That seems to help.

Wom Tom, you do tend to do high level songs and you're doing so well, am impressed and enjoyed it a great deal!

I do get what you're saying, playing a difficult piece and looking around doesn't work for me either, like you I'd rather close my eyes and just let my fingers do everything that I've been practicing..

Again great great job Tom!

Cheers

Ness..

This is beautifully played, Tom. Not familiar with the original but your playing makes it very appealing to add it in the to do list. You have a mellow touch on the song giving a very nice rendering.

Lovely song, and you play it extremely well. As much as I love your instrumentals, I must admit that I am looking forward to hearing you sing a song or two.

I though that "Judy" looked to be a very tough tune and I also thought "I bet Tom could play it with his eyes shut" and guess what? Great job as usual Tom, your renditions of very tough instrumentals are very inspiring.
