My first upload of a strumming song. Loved this ever since I heard Neil do it and was thrilled to find out recently he had added the chapter on the chord solo. It's very addictive to play and try to improve, it's difficult because I think it's more about what you don't play to give the melody space.

BTW, nerves got the better of me and I plain forgot the G in the melody on the last F....oh well.

PLEASE NOTE: If video was recently uploaded it will not work yet. YouTube will need a little more time to get the video ready. Please check back again soon.

Really cool song and nice job of it. I bet you play that much smoother off Camera than on because once you got into it, it really smoothed out for you. Difficult piece to play and well done !

Dean, that sounded really nice. You made that look easy to get and from 1st position to the sliding thirds bit way
up the neck. I have a hard time with that on this tune. I liked what you said about it being " what you don't play to
let the melody breathe." I really thought you did outstanding!

One of my favorite songs. You played that really well and I was impressed with the single string picking. Much harder than it looks and you carried it off right on time. Great job with this one!!

Thanks Mark, Lueders, I think with a lot of practice getting the mechanics down better will allow me to concentrate on feel. It's a song that really exposes any technical weakness because the emotion gets lost. One to work on long term but a real pleasure to play.

Nice job on that. That intro is tough. I thought you pretty much nailed the cord solo part. One of my favorites by the Stones

Nicely done! I have been playing that song for some time now with just chords but now I see that I'm going to have to try to add the melody line as well. It sounds so much better that way. Thanks for the inspiration.

I really enjoyed this - nicely played. May have to go check out that lesson.

And don't worry about the nerves, we all get them.

Stuart
