Scott,

I tried to watch this on my iPad, but only got audio for some reason. But, it was nice to see you for the micro second that I was able to.

Regardless, that sounded really beautiful. The picking was clear and even, the temp was great and very regular. The whole thing has a melancholy feeling to it.

Why did it take you so long to post?

Really beautifully played. I enjoyed it a lot.

Matt, this song grabbed me the very first time you shared it with us. Which is the first time I'd heard it.

I thought of you from the first moment I decided to try this. My first attempt which failed (wrong file type) was on my fathers birthday. Feb 3. Had he been alive, he would have been 96. I've tried a dozen times to put my voice to this as I played, but I can't even type it without getting choked up.

So the instrumental will have to do.

Scott

Scott,

Great to see you got your upload issues sorted out. What did you do to fix it- so others can avoid pitfalls?
I think you've only got one channel of audio though.

About your playing-
Love your Seagull (flamed maple?)
Picking was clean steady. Bass notes came through nicely.
You can tell you've worked on this for a while.

Thanks for posting.

Scott,

Very nicely played. Smooth and accurate. I could tell you were into it.
I liked how you switched off the camera at the end too. Kinda cool

Thanks for sharing that!

Wow Scott! That was just beautiful!

First you share this beautiful Alaska-scenery and now this song, what a treat!

Thanks Scott, I enjoyed it very much! Your father would have been very proud of you...

First off I am with Michelle. Why did it take you so long to post? Man, you play great!
(I guess you were just busy toiling away...practicing; well the hard work really paid off.)

Sorry about your loss. I know what you mean about getting choked up.
I would love to be able to take a stab at this song...it is just too soon after for me.
Thanks for providing a great example...when I can get around to it.

A Sincere Thanks,

Cori
