I've worked on this for quite a while. I don't necessarily think it shows! :-) Anyway, definitely for review and very open to suggestions. Love the tune and would like to play it well. I left the hammer-ons out as I don't quite have the timing right yet in my opinion but I did try to use some of the embellishments suggested by Neil.

I got a couple of words wrong in the lyrics also. No biggie.

Thanks for looking.

Oh P.S. I didn't wear the hat! I wanted to show that I love my big bald head and it loves me!

PLEASE NOTE: If video was recently uploaded it will not work yet. YouTube will need a little more time to get the video ready. Please check back again soon.

Tony,

It seems like a long time since we've seen a Student Review vid from you! This was a treat. Solid Travis picking throughout, and if you messed up any words, I sure didn't notice. You kept a good, steady pace, and it's a long song to play and keep regular throughout. This song seems like a good range for your voice, too. Sounded just great. I can see you playing this for groups of people right now.

In general, really nice job. And as much as I love your hats, I love your big, bald head, too, so it was nice to see it making an appearance! :)

Suzi thanks my friend. You know I just said to a good mate that I hate that period after you upload a video, waiting to get your first feedback and hoping like hell that your effort isn't a total disaster!

I always have and always will appreciate your support...and thanks for liking my big bald noggin (head).

Tony,
Nice job! I thought your picking sounded good on that beautiful guitar of yours. I agree with Suzi in that this songs seems to be right in your vocal range so it sounds nice and unstrained. Good work. Nice to see you again.

Tony,

I couldn't tell you anything you don't already know. This song is presentable to anyone right now, and with a little more practice/polish, its only going to get better. Your Singing and picking together worked very well.

For now, as I said, it's very pleasant and I enjoyed it.

Your big old bald head fits right in too. Don't think you want to loose that eh?

Keep um comin man.

Scott

Hey Craig thanks man. I do feel that it is in my comfortable range, I found it a challenge to play and sing but that's what it's about, challenging myself to get better. I feel that I can take this tune to a new level with some help and of course a heap more practice.

Thanks for you comment Craig, much appreciated.

Scott thanks a lot and you are absolutely spot on. More work to get some further embellishment into it will pay off. Cheers buddy. Oh and good luck bidding on that Taylor!

Oh gosh Tony, what can I say, I'm réally proud of you, you're doing so well on this travispicking, you really féél it! :cheer:

And singing along, wich you did very well, is just gréat, your voice suits this song really really well!

As for the F-chord, there was something about, but I couldn't put my finger on it immediately, but you kept playing the 5th string instead of the 6th string, wich is actually the only comment I would like to give you, just pay attention to that one, and you got yourself a great song!

So great to see you again, yep with bald head even better! :P

Ness thanks for that very useful comment. I often hit the 5th instead of 6th on an F...no idea why I continue to make that mistake, but I will concentrate on it. Thanks for your supportive comments in general also.

Shel thanks. I'd like to say see you in Sydney on Thur night so I can convince you to buy a Taylor...but we will see. I shined my head this morning just for you.

No chance big fella! I'm remaining true to my sweetheart, Larrivee. But, that doesn't stop me from looking at guitar porn. If I go there will be no MC. It's all for the learning... oh and because I've run out of strings... that's the real reason, obviously.
