Chris, good to hear from you my friend and really pleased that I could share this song. I did find Eva's version in the target lessons and Neil did a great job in the lesson but really stressed the need to not try an mimic the original so I did take some latitude in some places to fit my mood.

Very nice rendition of a beautiful song. I happen to prefer Eva Cassidy's verion of every song she covered.

The only thing I noticed was that you might consider using your pinky for the bass note for the transition between the D and the Bm. I don't remember how Neil teaches it.

Buddy all I can say is that was simple unbelievable, very powerful, you caught the emotion of the song, your vocals were perfect!!!! and that was a very moving effort, well done mate you really have become a accomplished singer and player and you just seem to be refining it and improving everytime. keep up the fantastic work, your a great role model motivator.

Ness, Thanks for the comments and input on this. Per Neil's suggestion in the lesson, I did change things up a little and tried to vary the tempo a bit as well and that may be what you are referring to.

Michele, You have a good ear and I really appreciate the suggestion. It is always a dilemma balancing out these tunes. Glad you felt the emotion of this piece it really moves me as well.
