PLEASE NOTE: If video was recently uploaded it will not work yet. YouTube will need a little more time to get the video ready. Please check back again soon.

I had put up an earlier version of this song that I was not very satisfied with. I received some very good suggestions from my TG friends so here is take #2. The real focus on this song are the distinctive base notes. Any comments to help move it along are always appreciated.

Hi Buddy,

I liked both versions. I think this version had a bit more bass notes but either way I thoroughly enjoyed it. Ready for open mic :woohoo:

Buddy, I think the extra bass notes add some balance to what I felt was kinda jangly in the first version (which was damn good).

Maybe like it's more rhythmic driving over a definitely bumpy country road than over a weather-worn paved road that is sometimes smooth, then not so smooth.

Oh well, as they say: "everybody's a critic".

Take care,
Pierre

[edit]
The lyrics say "I am no superman" ... looking at your fretting fingering, maybe "I am a spiderman" ?

Kevin, I would trade some singing for the way you finger pick any day. Thanks for the comments and the encouragement.

Bud,

I like this one. You stayed in time and slowed down that section around the 2:30 mark. Well done. The bass notes were very strong and your getting some really nice tone out of that guitar. This one is ready for the stage!!!! Thanks for showing us!!

Jay,

Good to hear from you. You must be working on some tunes as I have not seen much of you lately. Looking forward to your next post.

Buddy,

I just watched your first version of this song and then this one. The changes you've made have improved it noticeably.

It's sounding really good. Love your sing and your set-up gives amazing clarity. Just great.

Sorry to be late to the party of these two.

Nice job.

Michele
