PLEASE NOTE: If video was recently uploaded it will not work yet. YouTube will need a little more time to get the video ready. Please check back again soon.

(Trying to upload a different video format. It appears that YouTube no longer supports .mov :()

I took a break from playing Quicksand for a few weeks and decided that this week, I'd try to get a complete take on video of my playing the whole thing. It is surely a very difficult song, but what makes it even tougher is that it's so long that by the time I get to the end, my left hand is exhausted. :) I can get maybe three takes before I have to take a rest. But then, I need to warm up again and that leaves me with at best one or two nervous attempts on camera. Although I'm not that happy with what I captured on video, this is the best attempt I have where I didn't mess up too badly on the newer parts that I've been working on.

Excellent job, Tom. Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water, along comes Section B. Good luck with that one too.

Tom. Pizza points for taking on such a tough piece of music. You are very close on this one so keep up the good work. I really like the progress videos because it is a good reminder of how much effort goes into learning these songs.
