PLEASE NOTE: If video was recently uploaded it will not work yet. YouTube will need a little more time to get the video ready. Please check back again soon.

Here is a cover of If You Could read My Mind Love. I have always been fond of this song and finally had some time to learn it and record it. It was a real challenge to finger-pick this and sing it but it is such a lovely and moving song it was worth the effort.

This is a first take so any comments or suggestions to help move it along are always appreciated.

Bud

Here is a version where I brought the guitar forward more.

I play this tune a lot of times, but ik take a full F chord (barr).
Not the way in Neils lesson, but i play it with a friend of my.

25 years married.
Whe have 4 sets of songs we play together.

Very nicely played Buddy! I really liked the solo and ending and you claimed it for your own by the way you sang.
Great job!

Nice job Buddy, second version much clearer forthe guitar. Great singing as always. maybe a few tempo issues in parts that the dreaded 'nome' wouldn't fix. Echoing what Chris said about the solo and outro well played mate.

Hi Buddy,

Last night I was at the home of a couple I am friends with. I wanted to show them around the TotallyGuitars site, and when we got to the Forum page,
well there you were. It turns out that this tune is "Their Song", from courting days ... they loved it, asked me to pass the word on to you :)

Oh ... I'm impressed, too.
Thanks !
Pierre

Hi Buddy,

For a first take I thought they both sounded really good and 'd take either version. Not much to improve IMHO.

Nice job

Bob
