I wanted to practice barre chords and synchopated strumming, and this is a testing song that practices both. Any advice welcome.

PLEASE NOTE: If video was recently uploaded it will not work yet. YouTube will need a little more time to get the video ready. Please check back again soon.

Hi Dean that sounds very good. I would suggest to hit a little more on the open fat E when doing the first chord ( you hit it with the hammer on, but you are not doing it after). I find it gives a bit more volume. Just a thought.

Hi Dean,

Another song you're doing that I really enjoy. You've got a really good sound going. Keep at it. I look forward to your progress.

Very well done Dean, good job on the intro and very solid strumming!

Are you able to sing it as well?

This one's a bit rich for my blood, also very hard to sing with such synchopation. I'd love to hear you... :)

Dean:

That really sounded solid to me. Great rhythm and syncopation. You could probably nail the rhythm on Ventura Highway, which is a tough one too. I was waiting for you to start reaching out for the singing too.... :) That one would be tough to reach.... ;)
