Hey all,
Thank you for all the advice. I'll admit it was a little overwhelming at first, but I am always eager to know how I can improve. It is this forum that has kept me attached to this site because while playing in a vacuum of my living room I never get feedback on what I am doing and I guess bad habits are sure to become an issue. I picked this song and evil ways because I thought they were just easy songs I had down and didn't have to think to much about because they are really just strumming songs. It is hard when you are trying harder things to want to back down and break down and slow down and really work on the techniques you thought you had covered. I will have to push myself to make this step and really work on some fundamentals of strumming. I know if I ever want anything to sound polished this is what I need to do and just keep posting to know whether I am making progress or just continuing to ingrain bad habits.
