Thomas- I have no doubt you'd do very well with this song. I look forward to your version!!

Dermot- glad you enjoyed it.

Chris- I just listen to the output of the recorder through the headphones. I don't really need to, but I play better when I do that for some reason. Hmmm.

I think you are doing a good job on this.
Its a pretty difficult song because the rythms are very syncopated.

I notice you transcribed the very last lick into the higher position as well.

Al, I'm glad to discover that the Soul Train has a route to your neighborhood :P
As the technique and emotion in this continues to develop, it is going to be one of your best.

Al that was just great to watch. You looked pretty comfortable and perfection is just around the corner.
Lot's of movement for the hands here, a busy and complex piece and so recognisable. Great job! :)

Hi Al, I remember the noodling at Chris' sister and I thought it was very interesting. Seeing the whole video is very motivating to try to learn it. I think the bends you are making are well in tune, which I assume is the challenge here. I like all the playing directions you take, exploring many styles, and always producing good results. A good example to follow

Marc
