I think in time I could play the first rhythm part but the other part on the top three strings is sooooooooo difficult I wish I could..

I think you should try this strum . down down on the E. up down on the A .and then up down down on the E and do the same for the A to D back to A. Thats the way I do it and it sounds ok .
