Hi Craig,

Fabulous job! I watched yours and then watched Neils play through and back to yours again. Very nice indeed.

Thanks for sharing
Bob

Buddy, Thanks for watching. I appreciate the kind words. Yes the guitar is too big for my liking. I'm hoping to get something new, and smaller for an upcoming birthday.

Bill, Thanks for clapping hands. They are huge for my self confidence!

Bob, Thanks for your words of encouragement. I always appreciate your support.

Craig,

That was really pretty!! I don't think I know that song, but I loved how mellow and melodic it was. Your playing just keeps getting better- you must be really proud of yourself!

Suzi, Thank you so much. It is a beautiful tune for sure. I first became familiar with it from a Hawaiian group, "Hapa", who did an instrumental version that is awesome. In fact, I thought it was their song. I didn't realize until sometime later that it was a Lennon tune from his "Imagine" album (and it had words! ). I appreciate the "getting better" comment because some days it sure doesn't feel like it!

Matt, I was hesitant to post this because I know there are a lot of players out there that can do justice to this beautiful song way better than I did. I finally decided to just put it up because there are a lot of difficult (for me at least!) techniques that I'm trying to work on in this song, so hopefully we can all benefit from a Neil review of it.
Thanks for watching.

Vanessa, Thank you my TG friend! Just like I mentioned to Suzi, you can't imagine how happy I am when people who have been around Target for awhile say they see improvement in my playing. You encourage me to keep at it and I really appreciate that!

Well done Craig, that was terrific! I know what you mean about singing and fingerpicking, you really need two brains for that I think. :)

Dermot, Thanks for watching. It's a great song. I'm afraid it's over my head, but one I always wanted to tackle. So, at least I have a start on another long term project.
