PLEASE NOTE: If video was recently uploaded it will not work yet. YouTube will need a little more time to get the video ready. Please check back again soon.

I've been working on this for a few weeks now so I decided to upload a 1 take attempt at where I am with it so far. It's still messy and I'm obviously playing it too fast but that always happens to me when the camera is on.

I've really enjoyed how much playing this song really sounds like a train … much more so when one is playing it than just listening to it. Certainly, I'm learning some new skills with this one!

Wow Tom, you really have this far along for just a couple of weeks. I am always impressed with your finger picking. Is that a maple guitar you are playing ? Sounds really great to me !

Tom, that was just great! You have made some remarkable progress with this in only a very short time. You are right, It really does sound like a train. Nicely done, as usual. Beaker.

Tom leave it to you to impress me yet again. Geez two weeks huh?? Loved it. You are really starting to pick these songs up quickly. I'm not sure if you changed your recording set up or what but the tone you were getting from that guitar was really something special coming out of my speakers. I really enjoyed this song from you.

Tom, if you're going to be playing songs so that they sound like their titles, then you might want to think twice before trying that approach on "Classical Gas" :silly:

Glad to see this...
Nicely done!

Tom

You've got learning this difficult looking music down to a fine art.
That lesson was only put up a short while ago.

It's a fun tune.

Tom,

Great work so far on this. I agree that your recording quality sounds different & better.
Really like the driving bass line through this song, and it looks like a blast to play.

Thanks for sharing.
