Leo Kottke The Fisherman Pt 2 by dtaylor
I'll put the parts up separately, not likely to be able to get through this soup to nuts anytime soon.
PLEASE NOTE: If video was recently uploaded it will not work yet. YouTube will need a little more time to get the video ready. Please check back again soon.

Dean that's excellent.
I've just touched on part 2.

Dean, you have that section down pat!
It looks like you're having no troubles with using your thumb.
I don't think I have a big enough hand to do that. I keep trying, but it's a real stretch and a cause of all kinds of buzzes.
I've started trying to use an alternate fingering that doesn't require the thumb. It's harder to get all 4 fingers to the right spot in time, but once there I can make it sound pretty good. We'll see...
Keep up the good work.

Thanks Dermot, I've hit a snag now with the next section, it'll be a while before I get that one down
Cheers Tom, the neck of my Martin is narrow enough that I can get my small hand around it, couldn't do that with my new guitar. I'd be interested to see your solution. When Neil mooted the possibility of doing it without the thumb I must admit I couldn't work out how to do it.
Quick question for you: on the next section when the picking changes from C to Dm do you shift your right hand fingers up a string? I mean so that you don't pick the Dm with your ring finger, or do you stay in one position because the move is only for 8 beats? Just curious because that section's killing me!

Dean, what is the 2nd chord from the start (Am)?
