Very enjoyable and well done. I think I'm with the majority though a bit less effects 'cause you sure can play.

I think that's a dynamite first post. I don't have an issue with you using effects unless they are so intrusive that I can't discern your actual playing from the sounds an effect is producing -- and I didn't have that problem with your video. While every note is masked behind a digital filter, I could still hear every note to the extent that I'm very, very impressed with your playing. Plus, you looked like you were having a lot of fun. That's the important thing.

Excellent playing John, especially the jazz section with the bass line. I had the first part but drop the ball on that section. Did you already knew it (as the ending is different from Neil's lesson), or learned it from Neil and modified the ending?

I tried to use Neil's ending but I would get to that point in the song and muff it up ruining a decent take. So after 2 or 3 tries, I simplified it.
