Dean

What a brilliant video.
Your playing is great.
Did you lean it from tab/notation or by ear?
As others have said, it would make a great lesson.

I'll listen to this video again and again.

Dermot

Edit
Followed Willem's link and voted it for a lesson

Dean,

That was such a great performance. I will be checking it out a few more times for sure.

I listened again and again yesterday... really nice job Dean and it would make a fantastic lesson if Neil gets his hands on it for sure!

Wow Dean, that was awesome! Simply beautiful. Your harmonics and slides were all very clean. You've inspired me to get back to work! Thank you for sharing that.

I agree with everyone else - sounds great. And would make an excellent lesson.

One of my favourites tunes played brilliantly. I transcribed a tab for this many moons ago from the original song and a YT video for acoustic : I think this link to the site I was a member should work, its fairly close to what you do.

Again absolutely brilliant and I agree a lesson on this would be great, I maybe transcribed this but certainly can't play it as well as you have done.

Well done, Chas

Thanks for the positive comments everyone, I very much appreciate it. I have to say this is my second favourite arrangement of the song done for acoustic guitar but I won't say any more about the number 1 here.
Chas, i didn't know you'd transcribed it, your gp file would have been very handy for learning it, I had the tab I found at UG. There's also a version on Songsterr that has the solo and outro guitar part it might be nice to incorporate too.
I'd still pay good money to hear Neil play it his way though.
