Great work Tom, you got it down pretty much, now it just needs to age!

Thomas,
Can always count on you to tackle the really hard ones- this one being no exception.
Great to see another upload from you and hope you are keeping well.
Happy New Year!

Tom, lovely video, you did this with so much confidence, a steamroller !
You obviously are attracted to these more intricate songs ... do what you love !
... and inspire those that might noodle likewise

Hey everyone, thanks for all the nice comments.
I must have played this song nearly a thousand times over the past month or so.
Although I know I still have to work at it a bunch more, I just had to finally take a break from it, upload a video of it and start on something new.
That seems to happen to me every time. Oh well.
If anybody wants to work on a tongue twister equivalent for the right hand, this is the song for you.
It's a really good lesson forcing one to learn to play essentially two different things on each hand.
I found section 4 to be incredibly difficult. It feels to me like doing 3 different things at once.
The right thumb, the right fingers and the left hand are all doing different things. Ugh.
Maybe I get through that section once every 10 attempts.
Dean, as you noticed, I mostly didn't (couldn't) follow Neil's suggestion for using the left thumb on F.
It's just too much of a stretch for me.
So, I kept on trying various weird variants and hit on one that works for me ... mostly.
I did use my thumb on one part in section 1 because I couldn't get to any other fingering quick enough.
Anyway, it's a fun and seriously challenging song.
Hopefully Neil will be uploading a new 9er soon!
