A song I'd been inspired to learn a while ago when Suzi uploaded her version. Hope you like it.

You really knocked down a wall with this, Dean. Nice !!

I guess you have an idea that if you can do this, then ... ?? !

If not, then just wait for it ... will be at least as good !

That sounded really great Dean. Nice job!!
BTW, is that you in the hang glider?
Flying hang gliders was my passion back in my younger days. I do miss the thrill of it. :)

Absolutely beautiful Dean.... and those BSG overtones really coming through on this tune. Congrats on outing yourself... true TG gesture of trust. Great post!

Dean, great job. I've been working on this song quite a bit since Neil posted the FOTW. It is a haunting song that is really fun to play. You did it justice.

Thanks Dennis, it's a bit of a maudlin tune for this time of celebration but still nice to play.

Cheers Willem, glad you appreciated it.

Pierre, you've lost me a little with your comment, I'm being slow I think?!

Tom, thank you, that is a shot of me flying over Lake Annecy in France on an exped with the RAF a few years ago, happy days! I'm no spring chicken and I still fly, age is no bar. Where did you used to fly?

Chris, thanks for the comment, I feel like I can do the guitar justice now, with tunes like this I can really appreciate the quality of the instrument.

Thanks for your comment Bob, it really is a lovely arrangement.

Ness, thank you, I gave up playing for 2 weeks and the pain went away, but while on leave I've been practicing hard and the pain's back, oh well.

Scott, thanks for the comment, Suzi's vid piqued my interest in it and it's always nice to come back to when the mood is suitably downbeat :) I'm glad you enjoyed it.
