Hi Terry, you are right , they changed their policy, as there was a time limit before but no limitations. I guess people would change their date on their computer to keep going with the software. Sorry for giving you a false information. The way you seem to enjoy guitar though, you would really like this tool.

OH thats pity,,Terry I realy advise you to buy it when you can, millions of guitarist used for practicing or write there songs with it,,,

Terry, have you heard of a free open source program called TuxGuitar ?

It's compatible with GuitarPro version 5, not yet with version 6, to my knowledge.

I've used it a while back, it has fewer features but has the basics: start and stop wherever, repeat, set the speed, edit tab.

Got to be careful where you download it from, however. Some sites add their own crapware to the program
