So I actually wanted to ask who was singing (you're hiding again..... :( :( ), but I take it from the others that it was you, and indeed what a great job you did there, that was really great!!

The playing, what kind of advice are you looking for? What do you think needs improvement? (Yes I listened to the original, to me it had a Pink Moon-feel to it.)

Thanks Ness, I wonder if there is a technique to the strum that he used. It's a delicacy that it's hard to put your finger on. Maybe it's to do with playing without a pick?

Chris, all my money went on the guitar, none left for fancy mixing suites

Then it sounded just wonderful for a one mic, one take job... sound like much more! Great job!

So invest in Audacity... free recording software easy to use!

Yes I know exactly what you mean, although I will fail when trying to explain it in writing. However, it's absolutely about subtleness, how and when to place the accents. It's also a wrist thing and a driving way of strumming....oh well, I told you I'd fail if I tried.... :S  :(

So you think Nick Drake is playing without a pick? I don't think it's that though,

I think if I were to see it being played the way he did I could copy, but I can't come up with it myself. Play it for me Ness ;)

Dean,

I haven't checked out these Nick Drake lessons yet- but your upload sure makes me want to!

And keep up the singing. Very relaxed vibe & tone.
Nice work.
