Buddy- of your many videos this one is absolutely the best. It's like Stan Jones wrote this song for you. Like Neil said I love your subtle changes to the chord progressions and I really like your boom-chuka attack. I've always played it with just the alternating bass notes and it sounds okay but your method really gives it the punch it needs. Much better.

You could take your version of that song to any bar, honky-tonk, open mike etc. in the country and get great applause.

Really well done! Congrats!! :cheer:
Howdy Bear, Really great to hear from you. Us country boys always love these cowboy song  Hope things have settled down for you with all the trials you faced the last two years !

Man, you have really got that strum/attack down. I am thoroughly jealous of that. I am not familiar with this song, but whether or not I know the original, does nothing to change my opinion about your work on this one. Outstanding! B) B) B)

I agree with Bear about that being a crowd-pleaser anywhere you would take it.

Jason, How have you been my man ? I played this the other night at a gig and it really got the crowd going. Nice to hear from you, Bud

Yep, and being a horse trainer myself, I got a "kick" out of it.

What a great job, that must be rewarding.

Dermot, I only train for fun anymore and help some friends out once in a while. My problem is that I never met a horse I didn't like !
