Neil, Fist off I want to thank you for what an inspiration you and the Totally Guitars site has been to me. You have added so much to the joy of my guitar playing with your great teaching and and your gracious style and personality. In response to your question about why I changed the chords in the song, I think your out of the box music style has rubbed off on me, LOL. I was playing around with the song and wanted to make it sound a little spookier so I added the Dm chord because it brought a really different sound to the verse that made it sound a little bit more eerie and emotional. Thanks for such a great review and for all you do to inspire us in our devotion to playing the guitar, Bud

I remember when you first posted this video and how much I enjoyed it then. Now that I've watched it again I still really love it!

Great review by Neil for your fine efforts too I agree that this song fit your voice perfectly and you played it very well.

Buddy- of your many videos this one is absolutely the best. It's like Stan Jones wrote this song for you. Like Neil said I love your subtle changes to the chord progressions and I really like your boom-chuka attack. I've always played it with just the alternating bass notes and it sounds okay but your method really gives it the punch it needs. Much better.

You could take your version of that song to any bar, honky-tonk, open mike etc. in the country and get great applause.

Man, you have really got that strum/attack down. I am thoroughly jealous of that. I am not familiar with this song, but whether or not I know the original, does nothing to change my opinion about your work on this one. Outstanding! B) B) B)

I agree with Bear about that being a crowd-pleaser anywhere you would take it.
