I can't load to the busking channel so I put this here. It's a version from Martin Tallstrom's arrangement. Hope you like it.

PLEASE NOTE: If video was recently uploaded it will not work yet. YouTube will need a little more time to get the video ready. Please check back again soon.

Wow, that was just terrific! That is one action-packed song that I appreciate so much more as an instrumental. Great job!

Great work there! I've always heard that song with vocals. What a beautiful instrumental. Your hammer-ons and slides were made to look easy and I know they are anything but easy! Very enjoyable! Well done.

Dean,

Excellent job. Quite the finger workout you have going on.

That is an excellent piece. The arrangement is so nice and all the embellishments sound effortless.
How long have you been working on this? Did you work out the arrangement or work from the tab.

I've wanted to learn this song for a long time. I putting it next in my queue.

Dennis, thanks, there is a lot going on with it. It was an education in itself learning it.

Craig, thanks for the feedback, the embellishments really make a difference to the effect, you're right they were hard for me to learn to get them as fluid as they are.

Bob, thanks for your comment, it's a great practice piece.

Lynn, I don't know how many months it's been, I lose track of time, but I started when I heard Daryl play it. I used the tab and Tallstrom's video on his site. It's a little tricky to work out exactly what he does on a few hammer-on pull-off combos but it's 'do-able'. Glad you like it and hope you enjoy learning it as much as I did :)

Ah Vanessa :-) Thanks for encouragement, I'm generally a bad student, need to do more homework, but I have taken the lessons on position to heart at least!

Dean

That was great to listen to and watch.

I haven't heard that version before, you play it with great feeling.

Thanks for sharing

Dermot

PS
I put Pink Moon aside for a while.
I'll get back to it some time, I still owe you that upload
Your help was much appreciated.

:)

Very evocative!

I really liked the way you kept the tones ringing out; no buzzing or muted notes. I'll bet you put a lot of effort into that, and it paid off.
