My first attempt at getting the timing down for Road, this is surprisingly hard!!!

PLEASE NOTE: If video was recently uploaded it will not work yet. YouTube will need a little more time to get the video ready. Please check back again soon.

Dean. you always play with such clarity, the notes are crystal clear. Greay playing on a tricky bass line.

Dean:

That was awesome. As someone who has just recently been exposed to Nick Drake (thanks to TG and Pandora), I find I am really starting to enjoy his tunes. For you to say that it is surprisingly hard, yet pull it off so nicely, it just goes to show how focused and diligent you are . ;)

Wonderful job, and thanks for sharing your work. Marc is right about your playing and the clearness of your notes. Absolutely solid. Terrific hand position as well.

Marc, thank you, i was trying to be faithful to the original, some notes missed along the way but there's a lot of challenges in it. I'll keep at it and hopefully the singing too.

J, I have got sore fingers from practicing this! Almost gave up on it... It's hard to figure that this is 40 year old music, it sounds so fresh to me. Glad you appreciated my effort.

Dermot, thanks for your comment :)

W, timing issues are improving the more I play it, starting to work on the lyrics too. Hope to incorporate some free-form picking as Neil advises too.

Nice job on what I agree is a challenging song. I've been trying to learn it as well, but have not had much luck.

You should persevere Jay, I'm sure you'll do a killer job on it. My index finger's completely numb mind you :)
