This is a very slow version, but I wanted to post it as it forced me to record it and review it. I know I have a long way to go.

Slow is a good way to start. Keep at it...

I can play it faster at this point, however then keeping the timing correct is difficult as it progresses, which is why I am maintaining this pace for now.

Well done Cavi, slow and steady is the best way to go as Jay says. Thanks for posting!

Maybe move the camera out so we can see what you are doing with your hands. BTW, what is the guitar you are playing?

Hello Cavi

Great effort, it's a brilliant tune, it's a challenging tune, keep it going.
I look forward to your review.

Thanks for sharing,

Dermot

Cavi,

Great start on a great song! I hope you will post some periodic updates. And its great for anyone else working on this song, or people who plan to in the future, to have the benefit of Neil's reviews as well.

Keep up the great work!

Craig

the guitar is a Godin Mulitac Grand concert nylon. Love this guitar. Sounds good plugged in or not. Neck is basically a normal classical guitar neck.

question for Neil
last measure of section 3. Fingering...... Help!!! So the slide from c/a to D/B and then F hammer on to G. How do I do this without dropping the D/B or do I drop the D and just hold the D?

Hi, and sorry for the delay getting back to you on this, I had to track down exactly where you were. This is probably bad news but the way I TRY to do this is the slide up on the 2nd and 3rd strings is done with fingers 2 and 4, then the F-G hammer is done with fingers 1 and 3, hoping to hold the D/B down. It is very difficult and maybe not worth it. Letting go of the D and hammering the G on with your 2nd finger would be OK (hopefully the B would still ring. I will address this on the News today.

Neil
