Tom, ugh ... total bummer is putting it mildly. I’m very sorry to hear about your injury.
There have been a few good suggestions put out there already. I almost wish I had an excuse to buckle down and concentrate on theory.
You seem in good spirits. That’s good. I hope the surgery goes well and your recuperation is brief.

Thanks Ken,
I am in good spirits, that's kinda me all the time, always looking on the positives, the bright side of life. I am sitting here planning my recovery.
So things will get worse after the op' then hopefully better quickly. In a funny way I'm looking forward to getting the op' out of the way. That is hurdle one.

Cheers,

Tom.

Hard lines Tom. Sorry to hear about the injury but at least you won. Might not feel important, but if winning isn't important then why do we keep the score? I would use this incident to remind your teammates of how committed you are! Get well soon mate.

That was really bad luck, Tom. Didn't you just get a shiny new Taylor? Seems to me that having that around the house during your recovery period could be pretty tough........why don't I call round and take it off your hands for a few weeks. Just to speed the healing process, you understand! It's all part and parcel of the caring community we have here at TG!

Yeah, that's what passes for sympathy in Glasgow :)

Yes my Taylor has been well played every day since I got it on Saturday Stuart. It's so beautiful to look at never mind play. I think I might just keep a hold of it and stare at it while getting better. I appreciate you only have my best interests at heart. :)

Glasgow humour, don't you just love it! :)

Wow, I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Here's hoping for a speedy and complete recovery.

Thanks Dennis,

been reading up on it, it's months of physio, but hpefully when I get the casts and braces they will fit post op' off, I can be playing again.
The prognosis is good for a full recovery if surgery is done within no more than 4 weeks.

Tom.
