Hi Mark
That was terrific; thanks for posting it. I guess big gusts like that at the beach would be bad for bonfires and guitars but I hope they at least gave you a day of great surf. Good to associate a face with the name. All the best,
Tom

Mark,
Very cool and very well done! Maybe one of us Californians can take it to the beach so we can say it went coast to coast in the U.S., literally!
Like others have mentioned, it will be nice to put a face, and voice together with your posts.

Hey Mark,
It’s great to see the banner vacationing at the beach. That picture is spectacular. I wish I was there. I think your video was great too.
Too bad the bonfire didn’t work out. A campfire song would have been very fitting. The results are excellent nonetheless.
Thanks for sharing your time with the banner with us.

Hey Mark. Great to see you.
I love your comment about the ocean. I too find thst the sea is good for the soul. It doesn't matter how shitty I feel I always feel better after I've been in. I don't get my body board in much these days, but any general immersion therapy is good medicine. It's magic.

Thanks for all your comments, I appreciate that y'all took the time to watch.
Tommy E. signed the guitar before a concert I went to last spring. He was a gentlemen and played my guitar and was very complimentary and conversational with not only me me but also my wife. Everyone who stood in line to meet him got the same undivided attention and treatment. A fine person I wish the world had more of. I got a video of my brief time with TE but don't really need it to remember the moment, its seered into my brain, I just wish it would make it to my fingers.

Wow, Mark! Great Video!! And like everybody else said...Great to finally see the man behind the avatar.
So by ncsurfer, you mean: North Carolina Surfer...the real-deal kind of surfing too & not just "surfing the net."
Very cool! I know you said posting vids wasn't really your thing. But man, I think you outta think about it... you seem like a really cool fella and it certainly looks like you know how to handle your axe. I would love to see a vid or two from you. (I'm sure others would too.)
(All I ever use for filming my videos is a Sony HD bloggie and it seems to do alright. So you don't have to be too high tech at all.)
P.S. Your monologue on the beach had a real, professional documentary flavor to it! Nice Job!
Cori!

I am sorry I didn't mean for y'all to think that was my commentary on the beach photo, my mistake. That is actually surfer Sam George from the movie Step into Liquid, although I do agree with the sentiment. I needed to add sound to the photo in order to put it on youtube and post it here so I grabbed an appropriate short sound bite from a soundtrack I had. I take credit for the picture though, but not the monologue. I apologize for not being clear when I posted the video. Hopefully the feds won't track me down.
