MJ,

What camera nerves, your picking sounded wonderful! I knew one other guy years ago that played left-handed on a right-handed guitar. That is hard to teach (or learn from) but he was a very good player and you sound really good too. Nice shot of the beach at the beginning, I was waiting for the playing to start on the beach. Watching this banner make it's journey remind me a little of watching the Olympic torch make it's journey to the site of the next games. Fun to see.

Hey Jason... mighty envious of that sundown shot on the beach with the banner.... bloody cold outside the window here right now! Your guitar is a real beaut and sounds fantastic... even if you do have play upside down ;-). Great to see the banner in such safe hands.

Jason,

Real cool to see you, and the banner making its worldwide tour. Nice playing as well, but I didn't see any camera nerves though  .

Thanks for sharing

Bob

HEY HEY M.J.

Say buddy,The tune sounded great.Just plug that Taylor in next time. And as far as the camera,I don"t no what makes a man forget how to talk faster. That piece of plastic or a beautiful woman.

Great shot on the beach.Should have set the camera up there. And what was that beast on the beach in the first shot???He (or she) was gone in the last shot. What did it do go catch a whale.LOL

Take it easy M.J.

Hey everyone:

Thanks for the kind words and encouragement. I wanted to try a clip at the beach, but the wind was up a bit and it would have played havoc on the microphone. My dainty little puppy Trixie was in the first shot, and then she was off to chase a crab in the second one. My boys found one wandering about and she could not resist. Funny thing to see a four foot tall, 140lb dog run like a chicken from a 3in tall 1/4lb crab..... :silly: :silly:

Shel, the beard comes and goes, kind of like my guitar playing abilities.... I have not been able to make the connection between the beard and good playing, or the beard and bad playing though.... Still working on that..

I had hopes of getting a song up in the busking thread this weekend as well, but the clip did not come out and it looks as though my day will be filled with BBQ and beer for the Superbowl today.... ;) It is fully tuned up and I have a few songs that fit the bill in mind.....

It was super cool to get the banner, I really enjoyed my time with it. It has passed through some neat places...

Thanks again to everyone for the support!

MJ

Jason,

Sorry it took me a few days to notice this! I loved your banner video! Really nice job with your fingerpicking and it was just cool to see you (and hear you!) and see the banner behind you. I could just barely make out where I'd signed my own name. Where did you sign yours?

Suzi:

As far as my signature, that was part of the camera nerves.... I had meant to sign it on camera, but totally forgot along with a bit more I wanted to say and another little song I wanted to play. I just figured I would run with what I had though and then try to get the other song up at a different time...... Thanks for the encouragement!

BTW, I signed the banner kind of right in the middle area.

MJ
