Hi Banner fans

Last Night the banner made it to Gloucestershire, England, and was signed by Mark :woohoo:

Plus I would like to say a big thank you to Mark and his good lady for being great hosts for the eve
Beforehand I felt nervous as I have been mezmirised by marks guitar skills
I/we had a good time, played through lots of songs, TG songs( inbetween chatting )
I also got to sit and listen to something Mark is working on, not that you could tell they needed any more practice
That was a bonus, I would do it all again in a heart beat, top evening with a great TG member
A Not nervous anymore RicksPick,

Thanks Mark

That sounds great, Rick! Where is the next stop for the banner? And, as Willem asked, are there any pics from your meet-up with Mark?

Hi Soz No pictures checked I had the Banner several times before leaving but not the camera, lol
The Next stop for the banner is with Stuart aka Reiver, who will be taking it onwards from there into the windy highlands of the frost giants where they eat girder's.
Or Scotland to most people, lol

Hi Rick and Mark, glad you guys could meet. Playing guitar with someone you only saw a video from is always full of surprises.

yeah we had a great time chatting and playing our way through some TG favorites.
Everything from Wish you were here, my my hey hey, the needle and the damage done and of course the ultimate TG favorite - Norwegian wood.

Rick even gave me a sneak preview of a bit of singing and I showed him my first attempt at "Sleight of hand" (which I'm thinking of renamig "Broken hand")

Hopefully we can arrange something similar if there are a few more British members.
