I have 2 Ovation Celebrity Deluxe guitars.
One is the RRBY (Rueby Red Burst) Quilted maple top. Bright sound, really rings. GOod for playing with Electrics and playing lead. I also had one that has a Koa top. REALLY beautiful looking and sounding guitar. Bery mellow. Good for folk as well as fingerpicking. Strings can make a difference also. Phospher Bronze have a brighter sound, white a silk and steel will be a bit more mellow. Best recommendation for =stings is to buy about 5-6 different sets, blay the hell out of them for a few weeks and make notes. Change theme ad start over. Pick what you like and stock with it.
