I just bougth a Line 6 Pod GX (entry level)to simulate different amplification systems for my electric guitar. It simulates let say ACDC Back in Black guitar sound used on the record. You plug the guitar and your head phone in the Pod (and the POD to your PC via a USB cable. Then rather than just getting the regular sound of your straight guitar, you get the same sound as if you would have the complete gear.

You get some example of configurations for many songs with the included software. My problem is where to find the configuration of songs not included in the examples. Since there are quite a few preamps , amps, etc.., it is not trivial to find the right configuration. Sometimes in Wikipedia somebody will put it in.

So if anybody has a suggestion!

Hi
I had a pod 2.0 some time ago, you can search the web for "patches" there are many sites out there where Pod users had saved their settings and uploaded them for other users to download.
Here's one site I hit just by a google search of "Pod patches"

http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/St ... tches.html

let me know if I can be of any more help
