Yeah, those odd chords can be tough.
At first, it was left hand position. I have since fixed that, but my right hand technique while fingerpicking needs work and accuracy, and when I'm using a pick, I have an issue with anchoring (my pinkie) when I'm playing leads. Other than that, I just REALLY need to brush up on my scales, because pentatonics and bends get boring and limiting, once you can play them all around the neck.
