Okay folks, I need your help! With 20,000 forum members and more joining daily, the forum has become huge. The result is we are starting to ask the same questions over an over again! No one has the time to go and search the forum so human nature is we just ask the same questions over and over.

I've suggested (along with others) that we set up a permanent thread topic called "Frequently Asked Questions" or FAQ's where new, or old, members could go and quickly find answers to common questions. Matt has challenged me to come up with the list of questions. Matt will take this list and make the new topic permanent.

So I need your help! What questions seem to get asked over and over? Here is my starting list of Frequently Asked Questions:

- Trouble with Barre Chords

- What strings to use

- Trouble fingering the F chord

- What guitar should I buy?

- What chords are in the key of C?
or whatever key!

So what else should go on this permanent list? Thanks for your feedback!

Rick,

I'll add these as I think of them (slow brain function). Here's 2 to get started.

- How do I learn scales?

- How do I play leads/solos?

Oh yeah,

- Should I learn music theory and if so how much and what?

This could possibly be more than one topic.

Thanks, That comment got you some Karma.

Really turned out to be 4 bits worth (read 50 cents for the young ones).

Should also include the TAB subject, e.g. how do I read TAB and what are the
symbols below the staff?

Jim
