I just bought 4 sets of these DR Strings. I hope they are good :)

I used to use these all the time until I found Cleartone. But these DR's should work fine for you in a non-coated string. DR's are nice and bright! :cheer:

I use D'Addario EJ26, Custom Light.
I tried coated strings but they seem to get
a little sticky when using fingerstyle method.
Coated may last a little longer but you can get
strings cheap if you buy 3 or 10 packs on the internet.

Here's the strings I use and I love them! I've had this set on for over 6 months and they are still sounding pretty great! They are a little expensive but I was going through a set of phosphur bronzes every month or less if I was playing alot!

Good luck!

Bear, Even coated strings don't sound great for 6 months!

You'd be surprised. And I've practiced a lot on them. I am going to switch them very soon because I noticed tonight they are aren't ringing like they did.

I also use a string cleaner on them which may help!

Yes, it helps by keeping them clean so they can ring more freely, but I bet they are not nearly as crispy as you think. Record a few strums before you replace them and then a few after and listen to all the additional freq response they have.

Hello Good friends.

When i bought my first steelstring guitar(Ibanez)they have DDario strings.
For 20Eur bought 3 sets Phosphor- bronze EJ-16.
After 6 monds, boucht the Yamaha CPX900,on this are the DDario Bronze,a nother sound, then the Phosphor-Bronze.
This last one have a warm sound.
A couppel of moands later,i bought Elixer Phosphor-bronze.
Good string,and nice sound,i can play for 5 a 6 monds on it.On my Saegull i have now,Urni balls.
This string sounds good, lower price than the Elixer.
But a nother feel .
The first Elixer i bought, there come off litle pieces of the coating.

That was my litle storrry. Greetz Anton
