Check it out. A friend who owns a guitar shop called me one day, said he had something I neeeded to see. Someone picked up this old guitar in an estate sale and was trying to sell it. He knew I loved Gretsch so he called me. I didnt need a new guitar for sure, but when I saw it, I had to have it. It came in the original case, with all the original paperwork.

Well for now I think I have my acoustic. There are so many that I want for different styles of play but for now I'd love to get my hands on one of these. An Epiphone Elitist 1965 Casino.

I got both of my dream guitars used at Griffon Stringed Instruments in Palo Alto California.
The Taylor is a 912ce custom, I believe the top is red cedar & the back and sides are rosewood. It has incredible tone and is the easiest acoustic guitar I've ever picked up to play.
The Gibson is a ES-446s it's about the size of a Les Paul, but it's a hollow body guitar that weighs less than 7.5 lbs. The contoured spruce top has f-holes and braces that are carved into the top — not glued. This makes it an instrument with great tone and resonance. This is also the guitar that I have sitting out on a guitar stand, and is usually the one I pick it up and play. It even has enough sound without plugging it in.

I completely don't deserve it, not could I do it justice, but I want a Collings guitar so badly. I heard one being played and I've never heard such a beautiful sound before.

My dream guitar is a McPherson MG4.0 with an Adirondack spruce top and East Indian rosewood back. I love the oddly placed and shaped soundhole, and the way the neck is cantilevered over the body. I played one at Chuck Levin's near D.C. and wanted to just take it home. Too bad I don't have a spare $5500 lying around! My favorite part is the curly koa binding. Exquisite!

I would love to have a '59 gretsch 6120. I don't know why, but I have always loved those old Gretsch guitars. I found this old '62 double cut in a friends guitar shop and of course had to have it, but I still want a '59. You just cant beat that old gretsch sound. B)

Hey everyone my name is Brian from Boston MA. I have been playing guitar for over ten years. I however am not by any means an advanced player. I am a very casual player.I will go for long periods of time without picking up my guitar. Most of what I have learned I learned from books and watching others play.I play mostly acoustic guitar. For me my dream guitar is a Gibson J-200. I play a Gibson now myself a Gibson Hummingbird artist.I bought this guitar about 5 years ago. Before the Gibson I owned a Martin DX1.This Martin is a lower end Martin. It is a decent guitar but not much more than that.Being a big Beatles fan I always loved the sound of Gibson acoustic guitars. The Gibson J-200 to me is an incredible sounding guitar. I love the rich tone and loudness of it.When I first started playing guitar one song I always wanted to learn was Here Comes The Sun.[wich was played by George on a J-2oo]I Loved the sound of the acoustic in this song.I can now play Here Comes The Sun pretty god not great.I think My Gibson Hummingbird artist is awsome. It really is the best guitar I ever owned.A Gibson J-200 however costs about twice as much as what I paid for the Hummingbird artist.I think my next purchase should however be a new electric.I own a Mexican Strat wich is O.K. As Far as my dream electric a Rickenbaker 350.
