Little bit of Bio here:

Caillat was born in Newbury Park, California and grew up in Malibu, California as well. Her father, Ken Caillat, co-produced Fleetwood Mac's Rumours (1977) and Tusk (1979) albums. Producer Mikal Blue hired a teenaged Caillat to sing on background techno music to be used for fashion shows. Caillat began writing songs with Blue in 2004.

She is an amazingly beautiful young lady with a wonderful singing voice. Got her big break on Myspace when friends of hers talked her into placing some of her songs there. She has certainly taken off from there.

Newbury Park and Malibu are only about 20 min from my house...............hubba hubba.............
