Sorry to hear about your problem there Chris. I'm told there ARE people you can see about it...so keep your chin up mate.

If he has to keep his chin up, that suggests he's not having much of a problem.

I had a woody once. Somebody gave it to me. But I lost it.

Hi all,
I am a new guitar player trying to teach myself for now, and new to Totally Guitars.
Anyway, I bought a few wooden picks from Brossardpicks.com. They are beautiful to hold and look at but are rather stiff for a beginner like me. I imagine they are best suited for picking rather than chord playing but they do make the strings sound louder. Attached a picture of one of my favorites.

All kidding aside, I have several wooden picks. I don't think I could've played them as a beginner, but they have a nice mellow tone.

I've made picks from old cards also. Not too shabby sounding but they don't have the sound I'm looking for.

A pick made from wood. That doesn't sound like it would hold up over time to me. Must be some serious hardwood.
