the whole "mini jumbo" thing i think might of been my biggest hang up with the previous guitar ...it never felt like it was mine when i played it ...if that makes any sense? wasn't comfortable to hold i guess

It's a nice option to have, Keno. But I only use the electronics on my Taylor about 20% of the time. Although a more expensive option, if later on you decide to add it, rather than just adding a pickup, send it back to the factory for a retrofit.

Keno, most of the guitar manufacturers will allow you to do the retrofit. It is a more expensive option (than just adding a pickup), but it does add value to your guitar.

By the way, thats a good move with the mini-jumbo. It has been my experience that if it does not feel right when you first pick it up, it never will.

thanks bill ...i just could'nt seem to put my finger on what it was i did'nt like about that guitar untill i grabed another dreadnaught from the wall at the store and sat with it for about 10 or 15 min. then it dawned on me that it was a comfort or feeling thing rather than sound because i did like the sound ...but this one jaumps at me more. and feels way more natural in my hands

Ken,
I just looked at your pictures. That is a very nice guitar. I'm glad you were able to find one that not only sounded good, but felt good as well as that is very important.
