The downside of guitar playing?

Well for starters, being a woman I'm suppose to know how to do my nails. Not that I would wear long nails under normal circumstances. But, no nails on one hand and very long nails on 3 fingers and a thumb (when I haven't been bowling). Well that's just the crappiest manicure in history!! And what's with the funny pointy shape and no edges.

Long nails attracts a lot of adverse type comments from the greater unwashed!

People think that because you play guitar you must be able to play EVERY song, popular or obscure. Everyone has a request and I get pretty sick of saying "sorry I can't play that". I guess players like Neil can take requests, and no doubt some of you guys can as well. But I run out pretty quickly.
