Now that I've got callouses on my left hand and long nails on my right, I can't type worth beans anymore. Anyone else have anything they want to blame on guitar playing?

Ha..you think you get funny looks!

Well for starters, being a woman I'm suppose to know how to do my nails. Not that I would wear long nails under normal circumstances. But, no nails on one hand and very long nails on 3 fingers and a thumb (when I haven't been bowling). Well that's just the crappiest manicure in history!! And what's with the funny pointy shape and no edges.

The term 'guitar-widow' comes to mind. Can't think why...... But, maybe that should be 'totallyguitars-widow'.

I was helping in the kitchen one day when my wife said "Hey, that pan is hot." I hadn't noticed.

Funny how what smelled delicious one second is repulsive when you realize it's your own flesh.

People think that because you play guitar you must be able to play EVERY song, popular or obscure. Everyone has a request and I get pretty sick of saying "sorry I can't play that". I guess players like Neil can take requests, and no doubt some of you guys can as well. But I run out pretty quickly.
