The downside of guitar playing?

Now that I've got callouses on my left hand and long nails on my right, I can't type worth beans anymore. Anyone else have anything they want to blame on guitar playing?

Well for starters, being a woman I'm suppose to know how to do my nails. Not that I would wear long nails under normal circumstances. The term 'guitar-widow' comes to mind. Can't think why...... But, maybe that should be 'totallyguitars-widow'.

I was helping in the kitchen one day when my wife said "Hey, that pan is hot." I hadn't noticed.

People think that because you play guitar you must be able to play EVERY song, popular or obscure. Everyone has a request and I get pretty sick of saying "sorry I can't play that". I guess players like Neil can take requests, and no doubt some of you guys can as well. But I run out pretty quickly.
