Bearzie, I have some extra screwdrivers that I don't use because they don't have enough torque for most tasks. (Have I mentioned I am a "handyman"? Crafty too. Anyway, the little plastic winder is 3.99 made by Spin Doctor. Looks like another one-use-only doodad that I now just got to have. :) FD

I used to break at least one string per night, sometimes two, when playing the typical 9:30 to 1:15, four set gig with 15 minute breaks.

Would always break at the bridge, where the side of my hand rested for palm muting. Pretty sure it was my acidic sweat, but the Florida humidity might have played a role as well.

Problem was finally solved when I got a Zildjian drummer's glove, cut the fingers out, and wore that on my right hand while playing. I thought it would curtail my ability to mute, but it worked fine.

Really looked like crap though. People thought I was trying to do some kind of one glove Michael Jackson schtick!
