Guitar Pro File Format

Hello, I'm about to purchase Guitar Pro 5 and was wondering if the files that are being created for each song are in midi or using the Real Sound Engine. Thanks!

Hi Mike, I just open Rhiannon which was created recently by TG and the Real Sound engine is activated.

RSE, I believe. I have never set up the MIDI preferences.

Whilst you have the option of RSE or Midi, I believe most instruments default to Midi, a few don't. To use Midi I believe you have to activate that as stated the default is RSE.
