This is a Demo of the new RSE, Realistic Sound Engine

This second promo clip I have a sneaky feeling that the music for this was a collaboration I was involved in a couple of years ago, I did the lead work. Is still have the TAb,can't play it all either lol. For those that don't know it a tune called 'Tamacun' by Rodrigo Y Gabriela. Four of us from a tab site that no longer exists took several months to do this, involves 4 percusive tracks 2 lead track and 1 rythym track. If you would like a copy PM me. This demo uses the latest sound engine and is slightly more advanced in quality of sound.

If they continue to do as they have done in the past, if you already own GPro you get the new version heavily discounted, I recall 50% off, be interesting to see if they continue that

Chas,
Thanks for the post. I had pretty much concluded that I would finally purchase Guitar Pro this week. Now I'm thinking that waiting until Version 6 arrives makes sense. Do you have any ideas on what the pricing for the new version will be?

I strongly suspect that the pricing will be the same as GP5, i.e. $60 first time, $30 for upgrade.

I think it's a no-brainer.

Chas- that's really exciting news because the existing RSE is pretty weak. Better than nothing but not very "realsitic" on most songs.

Have they released a new feature list yet? :cheer:

Chas,

I have been wondering if they would ever improve the RSE. Do you know If your a registered user if they will send any upgrade info? I just loaded GPRO 5 on my new laptap. I would go for the upgrade.

Thanks
Bob

They only ever offer free upgrades if its minor improvements, but when its a large upgrade as is forecast it comes out as new version and existing cutomers have always got the new ver at half price. Its been $60 since it started and then $30 for new vers. It pays when you register to join the mailing list, thenyou get the notifications about upgrades etc.

Incidentatly the tune in the second vid was done at an associate site to GPro which was closed down due to copyrite reasons, it has opened up again but the tabs are limited to users compositions and a few tabs not subject to copyrite.

Yes that helps. I think when I registered my GP5 I did get on the email list, but if not I'll be on the lookout for it in April

Thanks

Bob
