I'm just discovering that effects pedals exist for acoustic guitars. Anyone use them? What kind? What do they do?

Great gooly mooly . . . . . I spent most of my budget on getting an amp that sounds as close to the real thing as possible . . . . . now they make stuff to undo all that? What will they think of next?

Hey . . . . I'm just messing with you guys . . . . I guess there would be a value in making your acoustic sound like a revved up Strat . . . . then you wouldn't need to have an electric guitar. But where's the fun in that?
