I beg to differ on the nice accent bit.

I am beginning to understand why my version of "Blackbird" just doesn't come out right. Here I have been trying to precisely finger pick it, when it is a heavy metal rock strummin' song. Dang!!!

Hope you're not offended, Michele. All meant in good fun.
Tony has made mention of my Canadian-isms a few times, so I thought I'd give him a run for his money.

Sober second thought-- I don't want to take a chance on offending someone. I will remove it.

No worries.

I'm also remembering Matt's post about humour in forums etc.

No worries.
I don't get it, Al. There's nothing even remotely demeaning in your post. Why would you delete it?

Don't want to make a big deal about it..
There is the chance that someone could take offence at my poor attempt at an Australian accent. As Matt said in his forum guidelines- (paraphrasing)- what I find funny, others may not. If you have to think twice, then don't post it.

Al, I'm really sorry that you felt compelled to delete your post. I'm sure that no one would have been offended, least of all Tony. it was no more offensive than Tony saying something in his video about you saying "aboot."
